Travis Kelce's $6,000,000 KC mansion under construction for underground mancave: Report
Travis Kelce is adding an extra floor to his $6 million mansion in Kansas City, but it's underground. According to a report by DailyMail, The Chiefs tight end is building a mancave inside his house, and it's not just for him.
Kelce is building the mancave to spend private time with Taylor Swift. Around 396 square feet of land is carved out inside the tight end's property as additional space for his favorite sports elements such as an indoor golf simulator.
According to the publication, the construction team arrived at Kelce's property last week to excavate. The basement is expected to be dug out, and the floor height will be lowered by around 2.5 feet.
Phase one of the construction is expected to be finished by the end of this year and is to be done in a way to not disturb Kelce's stay. The news of the construction came almost a day after Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole opened up about her relationship.

On Thursday, WNBA star Angel Reese released an exclusive episode of her Unapologetically Angel podcast with Kayla Nicole. During the podcast, the social media influencer recalled her time with ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce and how their first breakup almost left her broke.
"It was, at the time, a long-distance relationship. I was going back and forth and I was in between apartments so I thought ‘that's cool," Kayla said (12:05). "We're going to get married, and I'm going to move into the house, and I don't really need an apartment. We broke up. My lease was up. My lease on my car was up all at the same time, and I was just like, ‘What have I done?’"
"We ended up getting back together just from an emotional standpoint, but from that point moving forward, it was like, ‘I don't care who I date, I don't care where they are, I'm going to always have my own place. I’m going to always have my own car. I'm going to always focus on my career and support theirs but really prioritize my own goals."
The couple broke up in 2022, after which the tight end dated the "Blank Space" singer. Nicole also discussed dealing with "hate" following Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift.
