Travis Kelce spills beans on meeting Caitlin Clark at Taylor Swift's final Era's show: "She's a Swiftie through and through"
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance at Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" in Indianapolis on Saturday. Videos of him dancing to some of Swift's hit songs circulated on social media. Among those in the VIP area with Kelce was WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
Clark has said in the past that she is a "Swiftie" and according to Kelce, she truly is a big fan of Swift. The three-time Super Bowl champion raved about getting the opportunity to catch up with Clark and how he is a fan of hers.
"She was into the show, for sure," Kelce said on Wednesday, via the 'New Heights' podcast. "She was there with her mom and a few friends. She had been, I think this is like her third or fourth show she had been to. She's a Swiftie through and through. Man, yeah, loves the show. I went to night two. She had already been to night one. And, you know, it's a, I think she's just having fun going up to the shows and and taking her friends and family and getting everybody to experience Tay up there on stage."
Travis Kelce added that this was not only the third or fourth show that Caitlin Clark has attended in "The Eras Tour" but it was also her second consecutive night attending, showing just how big of a fan she is of the Grammy-winning singer.
Travis Kelce discussed incident involving brother Jason Kelce
Each week, listeners and NFL fans get to listen to Jason and Travis Kelce discuss hot topics in and around the NFL world. On Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights" podcast, Travis spoke for the first time about the incident that involved Jason on Saturday afternoon before the Penn State vs. Ohio State matchup.
A fan walked up to Jason Kelce and used a homophobic slur aimed at Travis. After a few minutes, he turned around and allegedly smashed the fan's phone on the ground.
“You had some f***ing clown come up to you talking about your family," Travis said. "You reacted in a way that was defending your family and you might have used some words that you regret using.”
Travis showed support for his brother and said that he was simply defending his family. He also said that he knows his older brother is sorry for what happened and that in the heat of the moment, he did some things he shouldn't have done.
