Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift breakup rumor: Chiefs TE's PR firm clears the air on alleged “breakup contract”

Many view Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift as each other's better halves and endgame. With the combination of sports and music industry, they have taken over every conversation. However, on Tuesday, a set of pictures originating from Reddit showed unproven documents regarding Kelce’s media strategy following a supposed breakup with Swift on Sept. 28.

The original Reddit post has since been deleted, but these pictures, termed a “breakup contract,” spread like wildfire all over the internet. The document was typed on the letterhead of "Full Scope," the PR firm representing Kelce, and outlined a strategic plan for him to maintain mutual respect with Swift after the breakup.

However, the agency nipped this document in the bud on Tuesday night. As per The Daily Mail, a spokesperson for the firm vehemently denied the existence of any such contract and termed the viral pictures as "entirely false and fabricated," further saying:

“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents."

With the amount of media coverage and frenzy that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have generated over the past year, some of it is bound to be distasteful. However, these reports seem to bother them very little.

Travis Kelce isn’t thinking about retiring

Last year has been a whirlwind for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Kelce has gained mainstream attention like never before, including Hollywood projects. Amid the 34-year-old's new ventures, he clarified his stance on retirement during his appearance on the "Rich Eisen Show" on Tuesday.

"I'm just having so much fun," Kelce said. "I'm just so appreciative and so fortunate that I've been able to come into year 12 and still have this energy and this love and the ability to go out there and get to work.”

Travis Kelce will lead the Chiefs in their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
