Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa encourages NFL fans to donate towards Hurricane Helene relief
Hurricane Helene is on its way to becoming one of the worst storms in the history of the U.S. It has left more than 140 dead so far, according to the AP.
Many NGOs and celebrities have been working towards the welfare of the victims, including Jacksonville Jaguars star Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa.
On Monday, Marissa Lawrence posted an Instagram story encouraging fans to donate in the Hurricane Helene relief.
Marissa expressed how so many people have been affected by the hurricane, including one of her close friends. Talking about the same, the social media influencer said:
"So many were affected by this hurricane, including one of my closest friends! We have vacationed here for 28 years! Here is the link for those who want to help out."
Marissa Lawrence's Instagram story came almost a day after her cozy dinner date with friends. Apart from Marissa, Dak Prescott's girlfriend Sarah Jane also shared her devastation over the impact of Hurricane Helene in Tampa.
Besides Jane, Baker Mayfield's wife Emily also shared a heartbreaking message about Tampa's situation.
Baker Mayfield's wife Emily joined Marissa Lawrence with an emotional message on Hurricane Helene in Tampa
Due to Hurricane Helene, many people evacuated in Tampa, including Buccaneers star Baker Mayfield and his family.
Almost a day after evacuation, the quarterback's wife Emily penned down an emotional message on Instagram.
"I do not have words to accurately describe my heartbreak for everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. You see this stuff on TV - but until you live through it, you can't fully grasp the terror associated with the unknowns. Baker, Koko, Fergus, and I evacuated yesterday and are safe," Emily said.
"Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn't compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It's unfathomable. I'm so thankful to God for protecting us - and our home - and I'm praying nonstop for everyone dealing with the aftermath of the storm, the surge, the damage, the loss," she added.
Following Baker Mayfield and his family's evacuation, Tampa Bay Buccaneers owners, the Glazer family, announced a donation of $1 million towards Hurricane Helene relief.
