Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa shares emotional note on major pregnancy scare
Jaguars star Trevor Lawrence and wife Marissa are expecting their first baby. Almost a month after the couple announced their pregnancy, Marissa shared the emotional story behind it. While recalling her story, the influencer shared an emotional moment when doctors prepared her for miscarriage.
Marissa Lawrence shared an Instagram post on Wednesday containing her untold pregnancy story. Marissa recalled how she stopped taking birth control after the couple decided to try for a baby. Within just a few weeks, Marissa found herself pregnant, but it came with the shocking possibility of miscarriage.
"We go to our first appt and based off my last period I should’ve been measuring 6 weeks. Our Dr. at the time had the sonogram up and basically said she is not seeing what she would expect to be seeing at 6 weeks and prepared us for a miscarriage. We left the dr office crying and confused," Marissa said.
Going forward, Marissa revealed how doctors asked her to wait until the blood tests were done. When the results were back, the doctors told Marissa that the chances of miscarriage were high. The couple grieved until, a week later, doctors announced a safe pregnancy.
"Well now fast forward a week, I am still having to monitor my hormone levels.. and my levels double. And then they double again… so the assistant who works for the Dr tells me congratulations," Marissa recalled.
Marissa Lawrence gets emotional while writing her pregnancy story
After sharing her emotional pregnancy story, Marissa Lawrence took to her Instagram story to reveal how she was in tears while writing it. Marissa stated that her daughter is already glorifying God, even though she is still quite a few months away.
"I'm really crying writing that post. I didn't even think I was still emotional about it, but that really was such a hard time. And now I'm crying cause gosh she's already such a witness to Gods goodness... like she's already doing such a good job glorifying God and she isn't even here yet," Marissa wrote.
Before sharing her emotional story, Marissa posted the luxurious Gucci gifts that she and Trevor received for their baby daughter. The couple organized a grand gender reveal party in ice-cream themed style before making their way to Lake Tahoe for a romantic getaway trip.
