Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa are about to welcome their first child, a daughter, soon. And already, he is aiming high when it comes to what clothes she will be wearing.
On Monday, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback's wife Marissa took to her Instagram Stories to post a picture of white Gucci clothes that she plans for the child to wear - cap, long-sleeved onesie, and bib:
She thanked their "Gucci friends" in the caption for the gifts ahead of their newest addition to the family.
Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa opens up on challenges during pregnancy
Besides the preparations for when the baby finally arrives, Marissa has been outspoken about the challenges she has faced during her pregnancy. Late last month, she said in an Instagram Story:
"The throwing up so hard I cry hasn't been fun tho. Also if you saw me throw up at tacoLu last week, the food is amazing don't be alarmed."
And then just this past week, she said:
“Thing that's been funny about being pregnant is that I keep thinking I have nine months to prepare. But you don't find out until three or four weeks. Most people don't find out until eight. So that's like already two months off of nine.
“In my head I'm like, ‘I have nine months till I have a child’. But no, I'm almost halfway through this already. It's just crazy. And I feel like it's not talked about that.”
Trevor Lawrence stars in American Eagle campaign
Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence has landed himself a major company to endorse: casual apparel brand American Eagle. He is one of the faces of its Live Your Life campaign alongside tennis star Coco Gauff and actresses Nikki Rodriguez and Kristine Forseth.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated's Kicks section about how his involvement came to be, he explained:
"I've liked them since I was a kid. Obviously, it's changed a lot over the years, and I feel like they have revamped the brand a little bit recently. Some of the new stuff they have is awesome, and it fits my style really well."
About the campaign's message, he said:
"The messaging aspect of "Live Your Life" is encouraging people to live their lives to the fullest, to take ownership of their life and not to compare too much to anyone else. Do what you love and do what you're passionate about."
Lawrence also revealed his sartorial preferences in that interview: loose, comfortable, and neutrally colored clothing; not too much graphics; and Adidas sneakers.
