Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa shuts down rumors surrounding pregnancy as due date nears
Before the 2024 NFL season began, Jacksonville Jaguars star Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa announced their pregnancy. The couple is expecting their first child together.
Over the months, Marissa kept fans updated with their progress. This includes any pregnancy woes, events and baby-related updates.
However, in a new IG update, Marissa dismissed a few rumors about their pregnancy. As per Marissa, she was still pregnant and has not yet had her baby.
"I'm still very much pregnant! Some news going around that we had baby girl but she still has some time," Marissa wrote on her IG story.
While Marissa is yet to have the baby, she previously confirmed that her due date is nearing.
Last week, the couple also put together their 'dream' pregnancy shoot. Marissa posed while showing off her baby bump, eager to welcome their baby girl to the world.
The family posed together, including their two family dogs (Indi and Jones). The highlight, of course, was Marissa in a baby pink dress. The color also represented their to-be-born daughter.
"Growing our girl has been the greatest honor 🧸💐 Thank you @honeycombfloralcompany for making my dream maternity shoot a reality 🥹," Marissa wrote in her caption.
Trevor Lawrence and Marissa came together for a cozy Christmas weekend
Along with waiting for their baby girl, Trevor Lawrence and Marissa have been spending some quality time with their friends. All ready for the holiday season, the fam got together for a cozy Christmas weekend at home.
"A Cozy Christmas weekend!!🎄🎅🏻 I love you guys!!! It’s been so fun getting to walk through so many phases of life together— this one is the best yet🤍," Marissa wrote on her IG.
Lawrence's Clemson teammate Darien Rencher was among the friends present.
Marissa and Trevor have been dating since high school, the former played soccer, while Trevor played football. The couple tied the knot in April 2021, before Lawrence's NFL Draft.
One can expect more regular updates from Marissa as the 2024 campaign draws to an end. Lawrence's season, though, is already over after sustaining a major concussion during a Week 13 game against the Houston Texans.
