Trevor Lawrence, wife Marissa welcome baby girl Shae Lynn, share first photos on Instagram - "Mommy and daddy love you so much"
Trevor Lawrence is finally a father! Lawrence's wife Marissa Lynch took to Instagram on Monday to announce that a healthy and beautiful baby girl had been born to her and her husband, Trevor, just one day before their season finale game against the Indianapolis Colts, on January 4.
She also revealed their new baby girl's name in the caption:
"Shae Lynn Lawrence Born 1/4/25 at 4:01 am 10 pounds 2 oz 🎀🩷 Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Thank you Jesus for our girl!!" Marrissa Lawrence captioned her post.
Trevor Lawrence was wearing a "Girl Dad" cap in the pictures with her new daughter, who also wore a sweater with her name on it.
Just a day before, she had taken to Instagram to recap the year that had gone by posting pictures from 2024 with special messages and reflections.
"So grateful for this past year. So many amazing people. Visited some beautiful places. Celebrated the people I love. Started the journey of becoming parents," Marissa Lawrence wrote on her Instagram.
"This year was filled with highs and lows and had it's challenges but the word gratidue is all I begin to say for what this year has brought. Thank you Jesus for all you do. For who you are. For always taking care of me. I'm so excited for this next year and all the wonderful things ahead," she added in the same story.
Now 2025 is set to become an even special year for her as she steps into this new world of motherhood. The birth of their daughter is coming at a good time for Trevor Lawrence as the Jaguars recently entered the offseason, having been eliminated from the playoffs.
This will give him more time to help Marissa out with Shae and, at the same time bond with his daughter before the training season starts for the 2025 NFL season. However, Lawrence just had surgery on his left shoulder, so he will be a bit limited.

It seemed like just yesterday when the couple had their baby shower, even though it was more than eight weeks ago. The baby shower had been organized outdoors with flowers all over the venue and Marissa posing with the baby bump in a white dress.
Trevor Lawrence and Marissa began dating back in 2016, when they were both in high school. They got engaged in July 2020 and were married in April 2021.
