Tyreek Hill ribs ex-Chiefs teammate after Patrick Mahomes taunts him at Yankees-Royals game
Tyreek Hill took a playful dig at his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Gehrig Dieter, on X (formerly, Twitter) after a video surfaced of him being ribed by Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes. In the video, the Kansas City Royals, the MLB team in which Mahomes has a 1% stake, managed to tie the score with the New York Yankees in the ADLS game.
Overjoyed, Mahomes pushed himself against Dieter, a die-hard Yankees fan and screamed in his face. Dieter, frustration clear on his face, stood helpless, unable to react to Mahomes' taunt. Jumping on this, Tyreek joked that his former Chiefs teammate had gone "soft."
In response to the viral video, Dieter jokingly replied that he almost punched Mahomes out of anger.
In the end, the Yankees secured a 3-2 victory over the Royals. However, Dieter did not take this jab lying down and reposted Tyreek's comment with a picture of him in a punching position, captioning it:
"You can get these hands too"
The trash talk continued, and Hill reposted Dieter's post with the caption:
"Thug antics"
Gehrig Richard Dieter is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2017 to 2021. After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, he signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent and spent his entire playing career with the team, recording 32 yards and two receptions across 10 games.
Tyreek Hill shares Chiefs highlights on Snapchat
The Kansas City Chiefs are doing incredibly well, and have managed to remain undefeated with a 5-0 record. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reignited trade rumors after he took to Snapchat to share several highlights from his time in Kansas City.
This comes just a week after the Dolphins wide receiver posted a cryptic post on X about "exciting" trade news. The Internet went abuzz with speculations that the wideout might request a trade from the Dolphins and join the Chiefs However, he later admitted that he just got a kick out of fanning rumors and there was no substance to the speculations about him wanting out of Miami.
With Isiah Pacheco nursing an injury and Rashee Rice being placed on the IR, the Chiefs' offense is severely weakened. Could they manage to get Tyreek Hill to rejoin them to help solve their offensive woes?
