Vikings star Justin Jefferson accused by woman of pressurizing her for an abortion
Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson is having a terrific 2022 NFL season. He even played well on Thanksgiving against the New England Patriots. However, his off-field life might not be the best right now. With controversy engulfing the Vikings receiver, fans have been discussing his issues on social media.
Apparently, Jefferson has been pressurizing a woman to get an abortion. The gossip page 'Gossip of the City Tea' was approached by an anonymous woman, who came forward with the claim along with some screenshots. She also provided paperwork related to the matter.
The gossip page replied under a Vikings tweet, sharing their chats with the woman. They asked for an ultrasound, while the woman replied with a photo of the doctor's papwerwork.
"He sent his lawyers today for her but they backed down because you can’t tell a woman what to do. That’s the real tea."
They then shared her chat with Justin Jefferson, where she told the WR about the pregnancy and he asked about the abortion. While this might not be the complete conversation, it appears that the 23-year-old wanted to abort the baby.
Justin Jefferson and the woman also talk about the pill, which costs about $550, later discussing payment mediums like Venmo and Zelle.
Justin Jefferson continues to perform for the Vikings
As of yet, Jefferson has not made any public comment about the situation. However, one cannot overlook his season and the spectacular game against the New England Patriots.
In his third season with the Vikings, Jefferson has recorded 4,248 receiving yards, beating the 4,163 yard record set by Vikings legend Randy Moss. Additionally, Jefferson still has multiple games left this season, which means the gap between the two records will only widen. Here's what the receiver said after breaking the record:
"It means a lot. It means that my course of reaching to the Hall of Fame is near, but I'm just going to keep working, doing whatever it takes to make plays for this team. I love this team, I'll do anything for it. When that ball is in the air, it's mine."
The Vikings won the game 33-26, making it even more special for the young WR. Minnesota are scheduled to play the New York Jets next on December 4, Sunday. It will be interesting to see just how many yards Jefferson can record this season.
