“That's my boy man. You know life just be happening so fast. And I play with the Demaryius nine years. And that was like that's that's my dog. And whenever I think about it, and the way he passed, you know, even though it was unfortunate, I'm at peace, because that was really one of my the first teammates while I wasn't afraid to like love… I'm like, bro, I love you."
Miller added that he felt bad following Thomas' loss and talked more about how he was a good family man. He added:
"Not just love, you know, you walk out with like love, but I was like nah, DT. I love you. My mom and my dad, my mom and my dad, he kicked it with his mom and his daddy. I seen him develop over time. So, you know, obviously when somebody's passes you feel bad about it.”
Miller and Thomas were teammates from 2011-2018 in Denver and the two won a ring together. Von even got a tattoo of in memory of Thomas on his back.
Miller now plays for the Buffalo Bills and played for the Rams in 2021 after being released by the Broncos.
