Von Miller confronted Aaron Rodgers after game

Von Miller and the Buffalo Bills defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 27-17 in Sunday Night Football in Week 8.

Miller spoke with Katherine Fitzgerald of the Buffalo News after the game and confirmed to her that he confronted Rodgers during the game. He said that he thought the Packers would pass the ball more since they were down in the game.

Von Miller said multiple times he was “shocked that (the Packers) ran the ball so much.” Here’s more from his quote on checking in on the strategy with Aaron Rodgers: https://t.co/eYER8tbOih

The Packers attempted 30 total passes in the game compared to their 31 total rushing attempts. Rodgers completed 19 passes out of 30 for 203 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. As a team, they ran the rock 31 times for 208 yards, but had no touchdowns. They averaged 6.7 yards per carry, with Aaron Jones leading the way going for 143 yards on 20 carries.

It makes sense why Miller questioned the Packers for not throwing as much, but it's hard to argue that their run game was more effective last night. No Packers player recorded more than five receptions, and the leading receiver, rookie Romeo Doubs, had only 62 receiving yards.

Rodgers connected with Samori Toure late in the game for a 37-yard touchdown pass. He also threw a touchdown earlier in the game to rookie Romeo Doubs for a 19-yard score.
