WATCH: Bo Nix and Sean Payton's heated argument on sideline goes viral during Broncos-Raiders clash
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos offense were having one of their best outings of the season through three quarters against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. However, despite building a 10-point lead, the quarterback was seemingly less than impressed, as he got into a heated shouting match with head coach Sean Payton.
It's unclear what the argument was about but it seemingly stemmed from the veteran coach's decision to punt the ball rather than going for it on 4th-and-3 from the Raiders' 45-yard line. Nix was likely still fuming from wide receiver Troy Franklin dropping a near-perfect touchdown pass in the endzone.
Payton was seemingly upset with it too, as he chastised the receivers unit. However, the drop and the subsequent punt didn't prove costly as the Raiders went three-and-out and Nix and the Broncos' offense drove the ball into the endzone to extend their lead to 17 points.
