After leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a comfortable 26-13 win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football with his best performance of the season, Patrick Mahomes' first post on social media wasn't about his team's win. Instead, he congratulated the Kansas City Royals on winning Game 2 of their ALDS series against the New York Yankees.

He was also excited for Games 3 and 4 at the Kauffman Stadium, better known as "The K," writing:

"The K about to be jumpin this week!"

The reigning Super Bowl MVP was in attendance to cheer for the home team and while the fans lived up to their billing and created a raucous atmosphere, the team found themselves down 0-2 in the fifth inning.

However, back-to-back RBI doubles from Kyle Isbel and Michael Massey in the bottom of the fifth tied the score at 2-2 causing pandemonium inside The K.

Mahomes, who was in the VIP box alongside his friend, former Chiefs wide receiver, and Yankees fan Gehrig Dieter, was as excited as the rest of the Royals fans inside the stadium. He even made his way through a crowd to talk trash to Dieter.
