WATCH: Titans' DeAndre Hopkins takes center stage in Shaboozey's music video

Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has added "music video appearance" to his resume. NFL fans spotted the wide receiver in country star Shaboozey's newest music video collaboration with BigXthaPlug for the song "Drink Don't Need No Mix."

The music video for the song debuted this week, and music and football fans noticed Hopkins singing and dancing with others in the video.

One fan who saw the video shared their thoughts in a post on X and said they never would have thought Hopkins would play for the Titans. They also didn't think they would see the star wide receiver embrace the country music scene that the city is well-known for.

Hopkins replied to the post and declared Nashville as "one of the best cities in America":

"Nashville is One of the best cities in America! How could you not."

Shaboozey is one the biggest music stars of the summer. His mix of country and hip-hop has had music fans dancing to his songs over the last few months. Hopkins appears to also be a big fan of his music.

WR DeAndre Hopkins is the 'happiest' he's been in the NFL

Wide receiver Hopkins is heading into his 12th season in the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Houston Texans where he spent seven seasons. He was traded to the Arizona Cardinals and played there for three seasons.

In July 2023, Hopkins signed a two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, and he might be welcoming a contract extension to stay in Nashville. At the start of training camp, he told ESPN's Turron Davenport that it's the happiest he has been with any NFL organization:

"I love Tennessee. I love what (Amy Adams Strunk) is doing. I think this is the happiest that I've been in any organization, so let that speak for itself."

Hopkins gave credit to Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk and the way the organization is run as the reasons he loves being on the team. The wide receiver said he believes the Titans owner is putting an organization together that will win it all. Hopkins is set to make $17 million in the 2024 NFL season.
