WATCH: Titans HC appears to drop F-bomb at Will Levis after major blunder vs Jets
The Tennessee Titans held the New York Jets at 0, but that was brought into jeopardy by Will Levis. With the ball in possession, the Titans QB looked for a target to pass the ball to. While scouting for options, he decided to run the ball himself.
As he freed himself from the pressure, he tripped on the legs of one of the Jets' defenders and fell down, with the ball escaping his grip and rolling over. A Titan tried to grab the ball, but Jets defenders rushed in and took possession.
Reacting to this major error by the team's QB, HC Brian Callahan appeared to hurl an F-bomb at his QB with him seemingly shouting:
"What the f--k are you doing?"
And the Titans' troubles did not just end there. It actually went from bad to worse, as the Jets scored a touchdown once during their offensive drive. The extra point was also good, and the lead that the Titans had managed to secure early in the game was neutralized.
Will Levis walked off to the sidelines, covering his face with his helmet as if trying to shield himself from the shame of the major blunder he had just committed.
Has Will Levis learned from his previous game?
This is not the first time that Will Levis has let the ball slip, quite literally. In last week’s game against the Chicago Bears, the QB recorded 3 turnovers in the entire game. His pass was intercepted two times, following which he lost a fumble after getting sacked.
After the game, he took accountability for his poor performance calling it “bonehead play” and admitted that he gifted the game to the Bears.
"It's tough. I can't remember a loss in my career where I feel like I blatantly handed it over to them, and I have to deal with that.”
He had also said that he learned from the Bears game.
As Levis continues to fumble, fans and anaylyst's continue to question the QB's performance.
