WATCH: Travis Kelce dedicates an award to Taylor Swift at American Century Championship
It's safe to say that few athletes are having as big of a year as Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar wrapped up another Super Bowl win in February, taking his tally to three with his girlfriend Taylor Swift in attendance.
Kelce's relationship with Swift was front and center for nearly the entire season ever since the 14-time Grammy winner turned up to catch Kelce in action for the first time back in September when the Chiefs faced the Chicago Bears in Kansas City. Their relationship has only evolved since then with Swift finally hard-launching Kelce on her social media late in June.
This week, however, Kelce sort of took it to the next level.
The nine-time Pro Bowler, known for his effervescent personality, won an award at karaoke at the American Century Championship in Nevada. An emotional Kelce appeared to dramatize his win, dedicating the award to his celeb girlfriend.
"Taylor, this is for you!" Kelce was heard saying on stage.
Travis Kelce finally reveals how much he paid for Super Bowl suite for Taylor Swift
Swift, of course, was in attendance when the Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Considering it's Las Vegas, business was booming for the city when scores of fans turned up for Super Bowl weekend, so it's only natural that fans and players alike would have to fork out a lot of money to watch the game in person.
During a discussion on Netflix's 'Receiver' that premiered on June 10, Kelce was captured in discussion with George Kittle when the 49ers tight end enquired if Kelce was planning to book a suite for the big game.
The 3x Super Bowl winner replied:
"Because they're f**king $3 million?"
In any case, Swift appeared to have a lot of fun in the suite as Kelce brought him another Lombardi. Per multiple reports, Swift was also gracious enough to open-heartedly thank the employees who were working the suite at the M&T Bank Stadium when the Chiefs faced the Baltimore Ravens in the penultimate game of the season.
Kelce's girlfriend reportedly left $100 tips for the employees in the suite and 'feverishly' thanked them as the Chiefs booked a trip to the big game at the Ravens' expense.
