Murray escaped the Patriots' pass rushers, took off on a run, and tweaked his knee while attempting a juke, and fell to the floor in anguish. He remained on the floor before being carted off the field to the locker room.
Per ESPN, Murray, who had a towel on his head while being carted off the field, broke down in the locker room. The Cardinals have confirmed that their quarterback suffered a knee injury during the play. The team initially did not rule Murray out of the game but has since downgraded him to out.

The veteran has started two games this season and has thrown for 456 passing yards and one touchdown.
