What happened to Terrell Davis? Broncos icon recalls "traumatizing" incident after getting hauled off plane in handcuffs

NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis had to endure an incident during a United Airlines flight on Saturday that he deemed as "traumatizing." As Davis and his family traveled from Denver to Orange County, in California, he was unfairly placed in handcuffs as the plane arrived at the airport.

As the former superstar running back tells the story on his Instagram, his son asked for a cup of ice during the beverage service, but the flight attendant ignored the request. As Davis tapped his arm to grab the attention, the employee was rude to him, as the other passengers were also confused about the incident.

As the plane landed in Orange County, FBI agents boarded the plane and handcuffed him without any explanation as the entire plane watched the scene. Davis says that the incident made him feel humiliated, embarrassed, powerless and angry.

The agents deemed that the incident was an inaccuracy regarding what the flight attendant told them and what really happened. They also apologized to Davis' family, but he also said that the damage has already been done and that United Airlines has not contacted him regarding the incident.
