What is Jackson Mahomes doing now? Patrick Mahomes brother's absence explored amid sexual assault controversy

Patrick Mahomes' brother Jackson Mahomes seems to have gone off the grid amidst the recent sexual assault controversy. Recent reports seem to suggest that he is laying off social media just as he did last season.

Allegedly, it was his family members who told him to abstain so as not to distract Patrick Mahomes' NFL season. It certainly worked as he captured his second Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The recent controversy, however, has been more personal and more worrying. Jackson Mahomes was seen forcibly kissing Aspen Vaughn, a 40-year-old woman who owns the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, a suburb right outside of Kansas City.

A video has been provided below. User discretion is advised as some may find it distressing.

#JacksonMahomesPredator Don't care who his brother is. Don't care if he thinks he's an "influencer". This video of Jackson Mahomes grabbing Aspen Vaughn by the throat and forcefully trying to kiss her, TWICE - is undeniable assault. I hope she gets justice.💚🤍💜 https://t.co/1OQaXgybql

With the video surfacing, it now seems that Patrick Mahomes' brother has once again gone on a hiatus. His last TikTok video was on February 25 and his most recent Instagram post was posted a day later.

The only confirmation of his presence was in the compliments he presented to his nephew Bronze when his sister-in-law Brittany posted about her son. It at least confirms that he is still present but is showing great restraint in not being proactive on socials.

Jackson Mahomes denies all charges as Patrick Mahomes remains silent

Despite the allegations and his abstinence on social media, Jackson Mahomes has maintained that he has done nothing wrong. His attorney, Brandan Davies, said:

"Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson's accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter."

On her part, the alleged victim has accused as follows:

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere, and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”

Aspen Vaughn, 40, the owner of Aspen’s Resturaunt, says:

His advances were unwelcome and shocking, she said, and she believes he was intoxicated. “He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” Vaughn… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… https://t.co/Nca1QfosIi

Patrick Mahomes has not commented on the matter either, unlike other times when he has come to his brother's defense. That might not necessarily mean a falling out as the quarterback might be exercising caution in an incident where the authorities are involved.
