What does Justin Fields think of Aaron Rodgers? Bears QB reveals his true feeling toward Packers QB
Justin Fields and Aaron Rodgers have been rivals for the past two years as they play in the same division, the NFC North. However, they also hold the highest regard for one another.
Fields recently appeared on "Pardon My Take" where he was asked about his relationship with Rodgers. The Chicago Bears quarterback had nothing but praise for the four-time NFL MVP.
Here's what Justin Fields said about Aaron Rodgers:
"I really look up to him as a quarterback him as a person how he carries himself. So you know, of course there's a lot of rumors like how he treats his teammates and stuff like that."
Fields continued:
"Me getting to talk to Luke who was in Green Bay for a period of time and kind of knowing how he was you know, behind closed doors and stuff like that just wanted to talk to him and you know, kind of get his take on you know, some things of course at the quarterback position and stuff like that."
Both Justin Fields and Aaron Rodgers would like to have a better supporting cast around them next season,. The Bears are still rebuilding and the Packers went with young players to replace Davante Adams, something Rodgers did not like at the time.
It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for both of them and their franchises, as many changes could take place this offseason.
Aaron Rodgers' departure from Packers would help Justin Fields
Both Rodgers and Fields are being linked to potential trade packages. However, it would be very surprising if the Chicago Bears were to trade their young quarterback, only to draft another quarterback with the first overall pick.
But the story isn't the same in Green Bay as there is a very high possibility that Rodgers does end up getting traded. Both the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Jets are looking to get him, and a change of scenery might be best for both parties.
If Rodgers leaves the NFC North, Fields and the Bears will have a wonderful opportunity to make a run for the playoffs. They have the most cap room for next season and might draft a lot of talented players to build their team around their young quarterback's strengths.
