Travis Kelce is coming off a Super Bowl-winning campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs, and has since become a star in the entertainment industry as well. He is also seen as a party icon among NFL players, as he has been enjoying his time since the Super Bowl immensely.
To continue his legacy, the Chiefs tight end is organizing the 'Kelce Jam' which will be held on Friday, April 28 at the Azura Amphitheater in the Kansas City area. It will be a music festival that will be conducted around the 2023 NFL draft, which is taking place in Kansas City this year.
Travis Kelce recently spoke about the Kelce Jam and provided details about it. Here's what Kelce said on the "New Heights" podcast:
"It is going to be epic, okay got some great musical artists on Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross the boss, Loud Luxury, one of my favorite DJs out here, their sets are unreal and then we got Kansas City's own Tech N9ne coming through.
"Make sure you guys check it out. Kelsey Jam coming to you guys Draft Day weekend. We're gonna have some fun, getting excited for the 2023 season. I've always wanted to throw a party for Kansas City, the way that I know how to party and we're bringing a whole bunch of my favorite things into play and it's gonna be a festival.
"It's gonna be a music festival for everyone. So, make sure you bring the kids, bring your grandparents, bring everybody man, bring your cousins, your mama, Joe mama, your daddy, everybody bring them all."
The spirits are at an all-time high in Kansas City after their recent Super Bowl triumph, and the parade was a great example of that. To start proceedings for the upcoming season, Kelce is hosting a great event at the 2023 NFL draft that is expected to provide a lot of fun.
You can expect the likes of Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs players to be present there as well, and it will be a treat for the fans.
Travis Kelce is on his way to becoming the GOAT Tight End
After winning the second Super Bowl of his career, Travis Kelce has solidified his claim to be the best tight end ever in the history of the NFL. While some believe he is already the GOAT TE, others think he is still behind Rob Gronkowski.
If Kelce is able to win another Super Bowl and play similarly to the way he played throughout last season, he can clearly cement his status as the best to ever play in his position. Last season, Kelce had 110 catches for 1,338 yards and scored 12 touchdowns in 17 games.
