When Aaron Rodgers was in shock after an UFO spotting: "What in the f*** was that?":
Aaron Rodgers isn't one to hold back when he shares his past experiences, whether it be with psychedelics or even dark retreats. There was one time, though, that Rodgers recalled an interesting experience where he reportedly spotted a UFO.
In March 2016, Rodgers appeared on the "You Made It Weird" podcast and among the topics he spoke about was the UFO sighting. He recalled the incident, which apparently happened in 2005 when he was in New Jersey with his former Cal teammate, Steve Levy. Rodgers said the flying object completely shocked him.
“It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object," Rodgers said. "Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out—it was kind of behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, moving from left to right.
"It was me, Steve [Levy], and his brother that saw it. And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go ‘What in the fuck was that?'”
Aaron Rodgers shared UFO thoughts on HBO's "Hard Knocks"
In the years since Aaron Rodgers told his story of possibly seeing a UFO, the quarterback has only doubled down. In 2023, the New York Jets were the stars of HBO's "Hard Knocks" during training camp.
In the final episode before the 2023 NFL began, Rodgers shared more about the experience and said he and his friend remained in shock because they couldn't believe what they saw.
"And again we just stood there in disbelief for another few minutes. Nobody said a word. And we all kind of looked at each other like, did we just see what we think we just saw? What was that?" Rodgers said
"You're still not really sleeping. You just experienced this bizarre experience. We looked in the papers and online the next few days, and there was nothing about it."-Rodgers said on "Hard Knocks"
Rodgers has been interested in UFOs ever since then and spends a lot of time researching them. This was apparently his only experience with an unidentified object, but he remains invested in the topic and learning more about what happened that evening back in 2005.
