When will Odell Beckham Jr. return? Free Agent WR teases NFL return in hype video

Odell Beckham Jr. missed the entire 2022 NFL season. In the Super Bowl, he tore his ACL, but hoped to make a return to a contender late in the season. His knee injury didn't allow it, as the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and other teams all passed on signing him.

When will he return? Potentially soon, as the star wideout posted a teaser to Twitter.

don’t compare me to no other 🤬…if they went thru what i went thru they woulda been folded….🏃🏾‍♂️💨⏳ https://t.co/HTxTfPopCv

Beckham referenced his journey back to the NFL, something he likely wouldn't have done if he wasn't at least close to being ready to officially return. He was pretty close last season, so it's easy to believe that he'll be back very soon.

ACL injuries notoriously have long recovery times, but Beckham has now missed an entire calendar year. Even the longer recoveries from those injuries wouldn't have Beckham missing much more time.

When healthy, Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best pass-catchers in the NFL. He may get a chance to prove that once again very soon.

Who should sign Odell Beckham Jr. in 2023?

Assuming he is fully healthy, NFL teams will likely be lining up at the door to sign Odell Beckham Jr. He's a reliable option and any team would benefit from his services.

Expect the Cowboys to be a front-runner for him. They were last season and almost signed him in spite of the injury. Now that he's healthy, there's no reason to believe Jerry Jones won't go after him again.

The Buffalo Bills' playoff loss proved that they need more than Stefon Diggs as a pass catcher. A Diggs and Beckham duo would be incredibly hard to stop.

The San Francisco 49ers boast one of the NFL's most dynamic offenses, but adding Beckham would give them arguably the best wide receiver trio in the league.

Beckham could also return home to his New York Giants, who are perhaps the team in most need of a legitimate wide receiver. They made the playoffs without a reliable one, so imagine what they could do with an elite pass catcher?

Beckham will obviously have plenty of options for his impending NFL comeback.
