Will Smith pokes fun at Tom Brady as NFL icon's team loses at E1 Lake Como boat race

Tom Brady has been hard at work the last few weeks preparing for the start of his broadcasting career with FOX Sports. One of his teams, though, had a big competition in Lake Como, Italy, on Saturday in the E1 Series, the sustainable electric racing boat series.

Brady's team has won three of the last four races in the series against teams owned by actor Will Smith, Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez, singer Marc Anthony, tennis legend Rafael Nadal and DJ Steve Aoki. Smith attended this week's race, and his team defeated Tom Brady's, and since the latter wasn't in attendance, the actor decided to have some fun.

When Smith arrived in Lake Como earlier in the week, he said he was there to support his team and put an end to Brady's team's reign.

"I'm gonna put an end to that foolishness," Smith said in his Instagram story.

Smith's team pulled off the victory, and after the race, he shared a video on Instagram of his excitement as the drivers celebrated. He then wrote a caption, gloating about the big win over the former NFL quarterback's team.

"We Won!!! Sorry ‘bout that, @tombrady - My Bad," Smith captioned the post.
