Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs Week 8 clash vs Raiders to hype Travis Kelce? All about singer's schedule
Taylor Swift has shown her support for Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs since the couple began dating in the summer of 2023. The Grammy-winning singer attended games throughout the 2023 NFL season leading up to and including the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada, which occurred just hours after her show in Japan.
Swift has only attended Chiefs home games this season at Arrowhead Stadium in Weeks 1, 2 and 5. Last week, the first stop of her final North American leg of "The Eras Tour" in Miami prevented her from attending an away game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Travis Kelce has previously said that he had "FOMO," fear of missing out, last week when his entire family was in attendance at Swift's tour stop at Hard Rock Stadium. His mother Donna Kelce, brother Jason Kelce, sister-in-law Kylie and nieces Wyatt and Elliotte all enjoyed themselves at the concert.
Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs vs. Raiders week 8 matchup?
Taylor Swift's tour schedule will once again prevent her from attending a Kansas City Chiefs game this week. The singer will be performing the third and final night at Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. EST. The Chiefs will be at Allegiant Stadium at 4:25 p.m. EST in an AFC West matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, making it impossible for her to attend.
Although Swift hasn't been in attendance for most of the Chiefs' games this season, she has still included some references to the game during her shows. On Friday night, she pretended to throw a pass while performing on stage, and on Saturday, she made the touchdown hand motion while singing her song "Midnight Rain."
Swift's tour moves to Indianapolis next weekend, but the Chiefs will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night in Week 9, which would allow her to attend. The remaining tour schedule favors her to watch NFL games for the remainder of the season.
December 8, 2024, appears to be the only other game Taylor Swift would miss as she has a tour stop in Vancouver, Canada. That stop also happens to be the last of the "The Eras Tour" which kicked off in March 2023.
