WWE star CM Punk takes shots at Bears fan Seth Rollins before Raw's Netflix debut
WWE star Seth Rollins is a die-hard Chicago Bears fan and that was used against him by CM Punk on Monday evening. Rollins and CM Punk had a heated altercation on WWE Raw on Monday night which is just the latest development in their long-running rivalry.
Late Monday night though, CM Punk took another dig at Seth Rollins when the Chicago Bears lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 30-12, their eighth consecutive loss. CM Punk shared a photo of the score of the game on his Instagram Story and tagged Rollins' Instagram handle.
CM Punk clearly would take any situation to use it as a dig against Rollins. The feud between the two WWE stars won't be stopping anytime soon as they will face off again in just a few weeks. On January 6, 2025, the two will face each other again as WWE Raw makes its debut on Netflix.
Rollins now has a lackluster Bears season and a heated rivalry with CM Punk to deal with.
Seth Rollins was removed from Lucas Oil Satdium seat during matchup vs. Bears
On September 22, 2024, Seth Rollins was in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium to watch his Chicago Bears take on the Indinapolis Colts. Rollins entered the stadium and arrived at his seat wearing an Indianapolis Colts jacket, which he soon removed to show he was wearing a Caleb Williams jersey.
Rollins was shown on the video board at Lucas Oil Stadium and former Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton helped him out of his seat while pushing him onto the field.
The Bears lost to the Colts, 21-16, in that game as their struggles this season began to develop with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. Later that day, Rollins took to social media to describe his heartache for his team's loss.
"I. Hate. Football," Rollins wrote on X after the Bears loss.
Rollins, who is an avid fan and supporter of the Bears, hasn't had much to cheer for this season. In fact, the 4-10 Chicago Bears, who are at the bottom of the NFC North division, have led Rollins to air his grievances about the team on social media all season.
The Bears season won't get any easier as the have a matchup against the Detroit Lions next week at home at Solider Field.
