“Yeah, with your fat a*s” – Odell Beckham Jr’s angry rant during controversial plane incident: A roller-coaster of emotions
More details have emerged from the incident involving free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. at the Miami International Airport in November. At the time, it was reported that when flight attendants tried to awaken him to ask him to put on his seat belt, he didn't respond and then was belligerent with the staff.

Police and paramedics were called to the plane that was due to head cross country to Los Angeles International Airport. When police arrived, Beckham was awake and appeared to be fine and agreed to put on his seat belt. Staff, however, wanted him removed from the plane before the five-hour flight took off. The police then had to get all of the passengers off the plane and then planned to escort Odell Beckham Jr. off. As passengers began to gather their belongings, words were exchanged between Beckham and several other passengers.
The Super Bowl winning wide receiver didn't seem to care that the entire plane was inconvenienced and had to get off. He and one male passenger exchanged words as the man walked down the aisle. With the wide receiver calling him fat and ugly at one point. He can be seen standing up and leaning over seats, yelling at a few passengers as they told him that he should have just left himself. He told the man that he meant nothing to him and that in 20 minutes he'd be on a private plane.
"There’s nothing you can ever say, ever. You’re everything wrong with the world. Looking at me to get off a plane, for you. I would never, ever in my life, get off the plane for you, specifically you. Maybe everybody else, I would get off the plane. That s*** don’t mean nothing to me. You gon’ wait 40 minutes and I’m going to be on a private plane home. Yeah, with your fat a**. Get your a** off the plane for a second."

Body camera footage shows police escort Beckham, who was cooperative with authorities, off the plane and use his phone to arrange a ride to pick him up. They also found out and informed him that his checked baggage would have to remain on the plane and could be picked up at LAX. He said it was fine and they left him at the baggage carousel waiting for a ride.
While it has been assumed that he was under the influence at the time, the police didn't charge him with anything and he was free to go on his own accord.
Odell Beckham Jr. invests in professional pickleball team
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is ready to make his comeback at the end of the 2022 NFL season. Questions about his health and whether he was ready to get back to playing after offseason ACL surgery mounted, and he never signed with the team during the regular season.
But that doesn't mean that he isn't staying busy. The free agent wide receiver recently invested in Major League Pickleball's expansion team and will be calling Washington D.C. home in the future.

It was the only major investment he has made as of late. He also now owns a stake in a Mexican soccer club called Club Nexaca. An avid soccer fan, he had apparently been looking to invest in the sport for some time before finally doing so.
