"You act like a f***ing girl": Sean Strickland spews venom at Tom Brady over outrage at Gisele Bundchen jokes
In the last two decades, Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl winner, has won a lot of fans. However, the former New England Patriots quarterback has also had some detractors and one of them is UFC superstar Sean Strickland.
Strickland is known in the combat sports community as a no-holds-barred person. The former UFC middleweight champion has often gotten into trouble because of his words and this time he aimed his shots at one of the most successful QBs in NFL history.
At the roast, Brady's former teammate Drew Bledrose joked:
“(Brady is) pretty used to not being touched. Just like at the end of the marriage."
Bledrose wasn't the only one to do so, as more than 20 roasters took turns to joke about the 15-time Pro Bowler's breakdown of marriage with supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Strickland faced the media, promoting his upcoming fight against Paulo Costa at UFC 302. One media member wanted to know whether Strickland watched the Tom Brady roast on Netflix. And the 185-pounder shared his unfiltered opinions as he went on an expletives-filled rant:
“Oh man Tom Brady was a cu*ck bro. What you got mad, ‘Don't talk about my wife like that.’ Listen you f***ing pussy you signed up to be made fun of you can't handle it don't f***ing do it,” Strickland said.
“Yeah dude f*ck it, he handled that like a f***ing woman. Dude, you f***ing act like a f***ing girl and you pet f***ing goats and you post gay f***ing photos. Man the f*ck up no one thinks you're tough Tom Brady you're making fun of a f***ing comedian you f***ing pussy.”
Sean Strickland added how he would have handled it if he were in his spot.
“Me, I don't know if I can handle I might be, ‘Hey you shut the fuck up,’” Strickland said.
The effect of these jokes on Brady's personal life is one of the major reasons the global NFL icon has decided not to participate in roasts anymore.
Tom Brady and Sean Strickland have a Las Vegas connection
Even though both of these athletes might not see eye-to-eye, they have a Las Vegas Raiders connection.
Strickland is buddies with Raiders DE Maxx Crosby, and Tom Brady is lining up to become a minority owner of the franchise.
Strickland resides in Las Vegas, which could mean these two cross paths sometime in the future. Only time will tell what the outcome of such a meeting will be.
