"You are a poser" - Josh Allen reveals Aaron Rodgers roasted him via text before Packers vs. Bills SNF clash

Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen and Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers may be interconference rivals, but unlike some would first think, they are also co-workers.

Like many other co-workers, the two quarterbacks texted each other in the leadup to their next meeting. Speaking on "Kyle Brandt's Basement," Allen revealed that he received a trolling text from Rodgers in the leadup to the game on Sunday Night Football.

"I was at the [San Diego] Padres game. He texted me like, 'You're a poser. You're not even a Padres fan. Like, what are you doing?' I [had] facetimed him a little bit the week prior."

Allen went on to explain that he was already angling for an autograph from Rodgers:

"I sent him one of my jerseys in hopes that maybe he [will] send one back so I can frame it in my basement, but we'll see. I think he's a hard guy to get a jersey from. So, maybe if we can put some pressure on him, that'd be nice."

In the past, Josh Allen largely played in Aaron Rodgers' shadow in the eyes of many. However, in 2022, most agree it is a different story.

Through seven games, Allen is 6-1 and has thrown for nearly 2200 yards, 19 touchdowns and six interceptions. On the other hand, Rodgers is 3-5 through eight games and has thrown for 1800 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions for the Green Bay Packers.

Heading into the second half of the season, Allen will be attempting to keep his pace and hold onto what he has. Rodgers, meanwhile, will be looking to turn things up a notch, starting by snapping a four-game losing streak.

The Packers will be up against the Detroit Lions this weekend, while Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are set to play the New York Jets on Sunday.
