Deion Sanders remarkably predicted Russell Wilson's season-threatening hamstring injury before MNF tie
Hall of Famer Deion Sanders sensationally predicted Russell Wilson's "significant injury" before the Denver Broncos' Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Sanders was a guest on The Pro Football Football Show. During a segment called 'I believe', he remarkably told viewers how it would all play out if Wilson and the broncos-last-night-2022-nfl-season" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-is-sponsored="false">Broncos did not play well against the Chargers.
Sanders was very detailed about what he thought was going to happen. As if by magic, the prediction came true. After the defeat, Denver stated that Wilson had a significant injury and would be evaluated.
“Is Russell playing this week"? Sanders asked. The panel then stated he was.
“Ok, if this game stinks, by meaning, his performance, you’re going to see him go out with an injury, surgery, or something," Sanders said. "He’s going to get out of there. This year, he’s going to get out of there. Quarterbacks are not built, are not made, psychologically, to take that kind of badgery."
Sanders added:
“The social media, they love it, but they can’t take it. He’s gonna get out of there and then you’re going to hear former Seahawks players come out of the woodworks, taking shots. Watch.”
As mentioned above, the Broncos did state that Russell Wilson has picked up a hamstring injury. Hamstring injuries usually require at least three to four weeks to properly recover from. Wilson's is reported to be "significant."
Coincidence?
Russell Wilson and Denver Brocos off to poor start
When Russell Wilson was traded to Mile High, it was thought by many to be the final piece in the Broncos' jigsaw. But that's not been the case so far.
Denver have been underwhelming. They have failed to score 20 points in five of their six games this season. The one time they did, they lost.
Scoring totals of 16, 16, 11, 23, 9, and 16 are not exactly what many had predicted for a team with so much talent.
With Denver sitting at 2-4 and Wilson's injury, their chances of reaching the postseason look incredibly shaky.
There is unrest at Mile High. An expensive quarterback is not playing well, the offense looks poor and their season is nearly over after six weeks.
Sometimes the grass isn't always greener.
