"Happy Birthday Mama! We love you! Adding to the family Summer 2024!" Zach wrote on Instagram.

A former soccer player and Olympic bronze medalist, Julie retired in 2023. The World Champion chose to retire, sharing that the decision to do so was entirely her own.

"I don't want to regret anything. I think when I get to a point to be able to choose myself when I could step away. . . I do feel like I could step away and be like 'it's not because mumma can't play - mumma can play!" Ertz told the media [via Forbes].

Furthermore, she didn't want to sacrifice on her time with family.

"I think the biggest factor for sure, like anything in this sport takes, is sacrifice. Time with my family is just irreplaceable, especially with where Madden is in his age."

Julie continues to support her husband's career, and will cheer him on as the 2024 NFL season begins.
