Zach Wilson’s girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno in awe as Broncos QB dominates vs Cardinals - “Unbelievable”

Zach Wilson was dominant against the Arizona Cardinals, going 16-of-25 for 251 yards and two touchdowns. Such a performance had Denver Broncos fans starting to believe he could seriously threaten rookie Bo Nix for the QB1 spot.

But none were seemingly more impressed than his fiancee Nicolette Dell'Anno, who reposted a clip linking to one of his scores (the second one to Brandon Johnson) in her Instagram Stories:

Zach Wilson grateful for strong Broncos performance after struggles with New York Jets

If the past two months are any indication, Zach Wilson may be headed towards a very happy chapter after an inconsistent three years with New York Jets.

He got engaged to his girlfriend of over two years. He has started off well in a new team. And he will have a spot on the roster once final cuts end this upcoming Tuesday.

After the win against the Cardinals, Wilson said:

"It's been great so far. I've been loving it out here. Each day (I'm) just trying to improve and get better."

With Bo Nix entrenched as the QB1 in Denver, he assured that he could play mentor:

"I want him to play his best football. If I can be of any sort of resource or help to him, you want to have a unified room, that everyone can go in there and talk ball, protections, third down, whatever - bounce ideas off of each other."

And there is more good news coming Wilson's way. Head coach Sean Payton confirmed he would have a place on the 53-man roster come Week 1:

"We feel comfortable with those three quarterbacks (Nix, Wilson, and Jarrett Stidham). I think I've told you already I see the three of them making it... It's been the better part of the last two and half weeks [that he's played well].''

The Broncos begin their regular season at the Seattle Seahawks on September 8. Kickoff is at 4:05 PM ET on CBS.
