His route running, knowledge of leverage, and ability to get open could be just the tonic for Jones to have a bounce-back year.
Meanwhile, Jeudy is far younger than Hopkins. Over time, the pair could develop a superb relationship. Possessing the home run threat that Hopkins doesn't, Jeudy could be seen as the guy to stretch the defense down the field.
With Smith-Schuster already signed, adding Jeudy could be a smart piece of business for New England.
It is quite a dilemma. Should the Patriots go for the veteran All-Pro receiver who still has juice in his legs or a younger receiver in the hopes that he can become what Hopkins is and is also cheaper right now?
These are decisions that the Patriots front office needs to make quickly, but in truth, either receiver could be a welcome addition to the New England offense.
