Dan Orlovsky makes bold Odell Beckham Jr. prediction
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent. He didn't play at all during the 2022 NFL season as he recovered from a torn ACL that he suffered during the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. There have been rumors that the Dallas Cowboys and even his former team, the New York Giants, were all interested and that Aaron Rodgers was trying to convince him to sign with the New York Jets.
On Monday morning, former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky said on ESPN's "GET Up" that he believes that the wide receiver should sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Just imagine this offense if you’re a Pittsburgh Steelers fan: Najee Harris at tailback, who is still an awesome player. Then you got George Pickens who’s a burgeoning star at that position. Diontae Johnson and Pat Freiermuth at tight end - and you add Odell?" - Dan Orlovsky
Orlovksy said that he feels that the AFC needs some type of x-factor to compete with the Kansas CIty Chiefs. He said that, with the Steelers, Kenny Pickett is still on his rookie contract, so they can use the money to build around him. He also mentioned that running back Najee Harris, wide receiver George Pickens and tight end Pat Freiermuth are also on their rookie contracts. He added that Beckham would be that extra pop in the offense.
