Eagles vs Bengals summary

Jalen Hurts - Source: Getty

The Bengals' defense once again struggled to stop a quality opponent and gave up 37 points. It was tough for Burrow to compete in a high-scoring game without Higgins, and Cincinnati suffered their fifth loss of the season.

The Eagles have now won three straight games since their bye week and have put the league on notice. Hurts rushed in for three touchdowns, along with a 45-yard-touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith.

After struggles at the start of the season, the Eagles quarterback has not turned the ball over once in the last three games and is looking more like he did two years ago. Philadelphia is now 5-2 on the season and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.

As for the Bengals, they will face the Las Vegas Raiders next week, and will need a win to have any chance of staying alive in the race to the playoffs.
