Rashid Shaheed or Drake London Week 3 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Fantasy football projections for WRs

The New Orleans Saints' Rashid Shaheed and the Atlanta Falcons' Drake London both enjoyed great performances in Week 2, with the latter even getting the game-winning touchdown in the Falcons' upset over the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL fantasy owners could be up for a tough time deciding between the two of them.

Is Rashid Shaheed a good pick in Week 3?

This could be a bit surprising, but Shaheed might be up for a tough time against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Of course, he had two great games to open the year, but the Saints offense will have a tougher task against the Eagles' defense and likely won't reach the 40 points again (which, you know, it's not necessarily a bad thing).

He's not going to get as much volume, and certainly, Philadelphia's pass rush will not let Derek Carr throw the ball with such ease as he did in the first two games. His production could take a beating, and as a result, there might be one or two better picks on your roster for the wide receiver position.

Is Drake London a good pick in Week 3?

It certainly will be a tough task against a good Kansas City Chiefs defense, which does a great job limiting opposing wide receiver #1 to have a good game. However, as always, they could be up for a bit of mistakes in the first two months of the season.

On Monday, London had a much better production, grabbing six passes out of seven targets for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. Hardly superstar numbers, but extremely consistent.

Whom should I start between Rashid Shaheed and Drake London in Week 3?

Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer puts London two points over Shaheed in Week 3 projection and says that the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver is a better player to start.

Managers may be concerned about how the wide receiver will match up against Trent McDuffie, but his volume is still expected to be better than what Shaheed will have against the Eagles. It's a close projection, though, so be warned.
