Ridiculous Tom Brady stat proves he's a better NFL QB than Dan Marino

There's no doubt that Tom Brady retired as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, if not the greatest. Brady's resume is more complete than any other QB in the game. He has accomplished more than any other QB in his 23-year career.

One stat that proves this is how many touchdown passes Brady has thrown in his career. He has 649 total touchdown passes, the most of all time.

Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino is one of the greatest quarterbacks. In his career, he threw for a total of 452 career touchdown passes before retiring at the age of 38.

From the time Brady was 33 until his retirement (at age 45), he threw more TD passes than Marino did in his entire career, throwing 484 touchdowns.

#Dolphins Dan Marnio played in the NFL 17-years, retiring at age 38 as one of league's most prolific passer with 452 career touchdowns.

So since 2010, in a 13-year span, Brady surpasses Marino's remarkable stat that took him 17 years to accomplish.

Even when you look at Brady's numbers for each decade of his playing career, they are good enough for three Hall of Fame careers. In his 20s, he threw for 21,000 yards and 147 touchdowns while winning three Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVPs.

In his 30s, he threw for 40,000 yards, 309 touchdowns, two league MVPs, two Offensive Player of the Year awards, one Super Bowl victory and one Super Bowl MVP. In his 40s, he threw for 27,000 yards, 193 touchdowns, three Super Bowl victories, two Super Bowl MVPs, and one league MVP.

While Tom Brady has officially retired from the game of football, he wants some time off for himself before he jumps into his next role.

Last off-season, he agreed to a 10-year, $350 million deal with Fox Sports to be a broadcaster. The deal allows him to hop into the booth whenever he chooses to do so. He said yesterday on The Herd with Colin Cowherd that he would take the season off and make his debut in the Fall of 2024.

It won't be too long before we hear Brady calling games and analyzing them from a different perspective, but knowing Brady, he will be great at it and will be there for a long time.
