NFL Rumors: Broncos stars Bradley Chubb and Jerry Jeudy generating high trade interest from teams
With the NFL trade deadline looming in the distance, two Denver Broncos stars have generated a lot of interest. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and pass rusher Bradley Chubb are desired by a lot of teams, per the latest rumors.
Thus far this season, things have not gone as planned for the team. The Russell Wilson trade did not work out as expected and the offense has suffered as a result. Aside from Courtland Sutton, no one is having a particularly good year. They're only two games behind first place, but they're fortunate to be that close. Their schedule and how they've played doesn't suggest a reversal of course is coming any time soon.
In a deep division, a poor start can be too much for a team to overcome. As a result, teams are calling about Jeudy and Chubb. Wide receiver K.J. Hamler is also generating some interest. The expectation is that it would take a lot to move either player, but the first domino in the NFL trade world has already fallen with Christian McCaffrey.
The two stars could be the next two involved in blockbuster trades, though it isn't likely to happen right now. If Denver haven't turned it around as the deadline nears, then a deal will become more likely.
Best fits for Broncos stars Jerry Jeudy and Bradley Chubb
Wide receiver production is something all teams need, but certain contenders are in particular need of a top wide receiver, something Jeudy can be.
The Green Bay Packers have languished to a 3-3 start thanks largely to a lack of weapons. Jeudy could easily be their best target and give Aaron Rodgers someone he could depend on. The Kansas City Chiefs also need a wide receiver after they sent Tyreek Hill to Miami in the offseason. Inter-division trades are unlikely, but they are a team with a need.
Elite pass rushing is also something every team can use. The Baltimore Ravens need help on defense, and Chubb could turn the tides there.
The New England Patriots are an intriguing option. They have a great defense, but their pass rushing unit leaves some to be desired. The New York Jets have surprised everyone by going 4-2 so far. Could they surprise by going all in on defense and adding the Broncos to try and help them make the playoffs?
