NFL Rumors: Odell Beckham Jr to Browns? Super Bowl-winning WR linked with high-profile Deshaun Watson teamup

Is free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. set to return to the Cleveland Browns? In 2021, the wide receiver asked to be released from the team after he and quarterback Baker Mayfield weren't quite seeing eye to eye. Beckham wasn't seeing the type of production he had hoped for after returning from his first ACL injury.

He then signed with the Los Angeles Rams, where he went on to win his first Super Bowl title, but once again tore his ACL in the process. Now after not playing in the NFL last season, he is still searching for the right team and contract to play in 2023.

His free agency has been a hot-button topic as rumors continue to swirl about where he may call home next season. And now, it appears that the Browns are one of the contenders.

Beckham held an open workout earlier this month and Cleveland was one of the teams who attended the workout. Perhaps with quarterback Deshaun Watson now running the offense, they can convince the wide receiver to return.

Cleveland's 92.3 The Fan as well as others have circulated the idea of OBJ returning to Cleveland. But, all agree on one thing, that the price would need to be right for him to even consider signing with the Browns again. With the Dallas Cowboys trading for wide receiver Brandin Cooks, the likelihood of him signing there has now significantly decreased.

As free agency continues and the NFL draft approaches, his options may be getting slimmer.

Dalvin Tomlinson supports idea of Beckham signing with Browns

Tackle Dalvin Tomlinson recently became a member of the Cleveland Browns and he is voicing his take on one of his former teammates joining him.

While making an appearance on Cleveland's 92.3 The Fan, Tomlinson said that he wants the wide receiver to return to Cleveland. The two played together with the New York Giants.

That would be dope, I would love to play with Odell again. Odell’s great people, I love that guy. Super hard-working and super passionate about the game.”-Dalvin Tomlinson

Tomlinson said that OBJ is very hard working and has a great work ethic and is extremely passionate about the game of football. The 29-year-old also went on to say that he feels that the wide receiver gets a bad wrap sometimes in the headlines. He also added that Beckham gives his all on the field whether it's just a practice or a game and that in the locker room he is a true team player.
