NFL Trade Rumors: Brandon Aiyuk rejects two suitors with dark horse tipped to land 49ers WR

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Auyuk has reportedly rejected trades to two potential suitors.

Aiyuk has requested a trade from the 49ers as he looks for a new deal, and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that the 49ers are now willing to listen to trade offers.

Schefter also reported that San Francisco has a trade framework to send Aiyuk to the Patriots and Browns. However, NFL insider Rickey suggested Aiyuk will likely go to the Pittsburgh Steelers as he has rejected trades to the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.

"Yes, he doesn't want to be a Brown or Patriot," Rickey posted on X.

Aiyuk to the Steelers has been a prominent rumor since the star wide receiver asked for a trade.

According to Steelers reporter Andrew Fillipponi, Pittsburgh is working hard to get a deal done with Aiyuk.

Aiyuk is on his fifth-year option this season, but he has made it clear he wants a new deal or to be traded. Last season, he recorded 75 receptions for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns.

What would a Brandon Aiyuk trade package look like for the Steelers?

A trade for Aiyuk would likely include the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2025 first-round pick and potentially another pick.

A.J. Brown was traded for a first and third-round pick from the Tennessee Titans to the Philadelphia Eagles, so the 49ers could look for something similar for Aiyuk.

However, Brown was coming off a career year, so Aiyuk could go for a first and a Day 3 pick.

If the Pittsburgh Steelers trade for Aiyuk, he would become the team's No. 1 wide receiver.

The Steelers' No. 1 wide receiver is currently George Pickens, with Van Jefferson and Roman Wilson as their No. 2 and No. 3.

Adding Aiyuk would bolster the Steelers receiving corps, as Pickens is a solid No. 2 option for any NFL team. Adding weapons is key for Pittsburgh's offense, which struggled to score points last season.
