NFL Trade Rumors: Stefon Diggs to Cowboys? Bills WR addresses his goals for the future

NFL trade rumors are often predicated on needs and salary caps, but they are rarely based on emotions. For Buffalo Bills' Stefon Diggs, though, it might be different.

His brother, Trevon Diggs, plays for the Dallas Cowboys and has always harbored hope of them playing together. Trevon made a plea to the Cowboys nation to ask Stefon to join him there, and the Bills player agreed that it pulled on his heartstrings a little bit.

Stefon also confirmed that he grew up supporting Dallas, but once he was in the league, he had no reason to root for them. But now, with his brother there, the situation has changed.

Regarding the possibility of playing with his brother, Stefon said:

"It's a goal of mine, for sure."

He elaborated further on how he would like him and his brother to play in the Super Bowl together, just like the Kelce brothers are doing this year. Whether that is with either the same team or on opposite sides is unknown.

Stefon Diggs is currently on a great roster with the Buffalo Bills. They reach the playoffs regularly, and he has a singular connection with quarterback Josh Allen. However, there is a feeling that the window to win is closing there.

The Bills went all in this year by getting Von Miller and were many people's favorites to win it all at the start of the season. But they were turfed out at home by Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

It was a frustrating night for everyone at the Buffalo Bills, and toward the end of the game, fans saw Stefon Diggs shouting at his quarterback in frustration. Everyone picked it up, and rumors arose that the connection between the two players had irretrievably broken down.

If that is the case, then it makes sense for the wide receiver to look elsewhere, as it seems clear that Josh Allen will be the franchise quarterback for the Bills in the near future.

With the latest chit-chat about playing with his brother, trade rumors about Stefon moving away from the Bills will reach a crescendo. He will turn 30 next season and look to lift the Lombardi Trophy with any team before the window closes. The Buffalo Bills might need to go all-in again this year to retain Stefon Diggs for the future.
