49ers vs Cardinals summary

Brandon Aiyuk had the best game of the season so far, but that was not enough for the 49ers to win today. After kicker Jake Moody's injury, everything went wrong for San Francisco.

Brock Purdy threw two interceptions in the second half, including a game-losing one late in the fourth quarter as Kyler Murray and the Cardinals came away with a big win.

The 49ers are 2-3 heading into Week 6, where they will face the Seattle Seahawks and their path to winning the NFC West has become a lot tougher.

The Cardinals, led by the heroes Murray and James Conner, will enter Week 6 with the same record as the 49ers and will face the Green Bay Packers. Arizona's defense shut down the 49ers offense in the second half, and they will hope to replicate the same performance against Jordan Love and co.
