Should I drop Tank Bigsby? Week 10 fantasy projection for Jaguars RB
Tank Bigsby has been one of the best waiver wire adds of the 2024 fantasy football season so far, as he is leading the Jacksonville Jaguars in both rushing attempts and yards.
Bigsby filled in for former starter Travis Etienne Jr. who has missed time with a hamstring injury, as well as being dropped for poor play.
The second-year running back out of Auburn is RB35 in PPR scoring with 515 yards and four touchdowns on 93 attempts. All of these stats are ahead of Etienne, who may have lost his starting role going forward.
Should you drop Tank Bigsby for Week 10 fantasy football?
With Tank Bigsby looking like he can be the RB1 for the Jacksonville Jaguars for the rest of the season, there's no reason you should drop him from your fantasy football lineups.
Jaguars coach Doug Pederson has yet to decide who between Bigsby or Etienne will be his starting running back, so Bigsby is worth holding onto for Week 10 onwards.
On Sunday, the Jaguars will take on the Minnesota Vikings in a tough matchup, as the Vikings have allowed just 590 rushing yards and three TDs in eight games.
Tank Bigsby fantasy outlook for rest of 2024 season
Despite a tough matchup in Week 10, and coming off another difficult outing in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Tank Bigsby still has value for the rest of the fantasy football season.
Should he be named the starting RB for the rest of the year, Bigsby will have fantasy value on volume alone. There's a high chance this happens, as Travis Etienne is only RB40 in PPR scoring despite still seeing 59 carries.
Bigsby's yards per attempt is at 5.5, while Etienne is at 4.3. Bigsby has been the better RB in Jacksonville this season and if he can continue to receive carries, he can be an excellent fantasy football asset.
