Should I trade for Tyreek Hill? Week 11 Fantasy Outlook for Dolphins WR
Tyreek Hill has been a big name in the news over the last several days with his wrist injury. However, the bigger story of his season has been his production compared to what he pulled off in 2023. His production has been disappointing up to this point, but will that continue?
Could you end up wrestling away the wide receiver from a disappointed manager to snatch one of the biggest heists of the season? Here's a look at the wide receiver and a recommendation.
Should you trade for Tyreek Hill in Week 11 fantasy football?
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver has had two big anchors dragging down his production this season. One of the anchors has been his quarterback. Tua Tagovailoa has been out of the picture for much of the season. However, Hill has one issue fixed with the quarterback returning to the fold.
The second issue has been the wide receiver's wrist injury. He has been playing through it, but the injury appeared to flare up during the weekend leading up to Week 10. After playing in the game, Hill proved he can gut it out, so the injury should be noted, but not used to stop you from trading for him this week.
This week, Hill is projected to earn 16.9 fantasy points, per Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer.
Tyreek Hill fantasy outlook for rest of 2024 season
Despite falling well short of his 2023 numbers through the halfway point of the season, Hill is still producing somewhat reliably. With Tua Tagovailoa back on the field, Hill's opportunities to score deep are as good as they have been this season.
At his current pace, Hill will earn around 900 yards by the end of the season. It won't look the prettiest compared to most seasons in his career. However, the wide receiver will still be worthy of starting in most weeks as at least a flex. The wide receiver's wrist injury appears to be of little concern and Hill has played hurt before, wrapping up his 2023 season while battling minor injuries.
There's always the risk of a new injury or an aggravated injury knocking him out of the lineup. But the wide receiver isn't like many who treat questionable designations as de facto doubtful designations. Expect him to show up and play hard no matter the circumstance.
