SNF Buccaneers vs. Cowboys Week 16 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Elite WRs CeeDee Lamb and Mike Evans face off
Week 16 of the 2024 fantasy football season will feature a Sunday Night Football showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both teams feature some elite fantasy football options, but not all of them make great picks for lineups this week.
Here are some of the best targets and fades from this particular matchup.
Week 16 SNF Cowboys vs Buccaneers Fantasy Football Start 'Em picks
CeeDee Lamb has been one of the best overall fantasy football wide receivers during the 2024 season so far, currently ranking as the WR4 this year. He has overcome Dak Prescott suffering a season-ending injury and being replaced by Cooper Rush, as Lamb has been just as valuable as ever in recent weeks.
This includes finishing as the WR7 and WR11 in his past two games as he enters an excellent matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
He is joined by Mike Evans on the other side, who has also been an elite wide receiver option this season. He has clearly been the preferred target for Baker Mayfield in their passing offense in all four of his games since returning from an injury and has finished as the weekly WR2 and WR4 in two of them.
The Dallas Cowboys have struggled to defend the pass this season, giving Evans even more upside than usual this week.

Week 16 SNF Cowboys vs Buccaneers Fantasy Football Sit 'Em picks
Jake Ferguson is among the players that should be faded in fantasy football lineups when the Cowboys face off against the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. Unlike Lamb, his fantasy value has been unable to overcome the loss of Prescott.
After finishing among the top 10 weekly tight ends in three of his first four games, he has finished outside of the top 20 in six of his seven games since then. With Rush making another start at quarterback, Ferguson simply can't be trusted in lineups.
He falls well outside of the range of starting tight ends in terms of his weekly outlook.
