Tampa Bay Buccaneers Playoff History
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the NFL: Dec 01 Buccaneers at Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team. They play in the NFC South Division. Prior to 2002, the Buccaneers used to play in the AFC West Division and the NFC Central Division. The Buccaneers play their home games at the Raymond James Stadium in Florida. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the newest NFL franchises.

The Buccaneers started their first-ever season with no wins registered and have appeared in the playoffs only 14 times since their inception. The Buccaneers are one of two teams that have won all of their NFL Super Bowl appearances (two). They are the first team to play and win a Super Bowl in their own home stadium, which they accomplished in Super Bowl LV. By clinching the Divisional title (NFC South) in the 2023-24 season, the Buccaneers booked a berth in the playoffs. The major portion of the Buccaneers' playoff appearances came during and after the 2000s.
