The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or Bucs, are an NFL team based in Tampa, Florida, competing in the NFC South. They were founded in 1976 as an expansion team with the Seattle Seahawks.

As one of the newer teams in the NFL franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have enjoyed a successful Super Bowl run. The Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl in 2003 (Super Bowl XXXVII). The team won its second Super Bowl in 2021 (Super Bowl LV) which marked 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady’s first win as a Buccaneers player. Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of two teams in the NFL who remain undefeated in all of their Super Bowl appearances. The Buccaneers missed out on a third Super Bowl appearance after getting knocked out in the Divisional Round of the 2023-24 Playoffs against the Detroit Lions.

The game ended 31-9 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Chiefs failed to score even one touchdown and even conceded 11 penalties to the Buccaneers.
