Taylor was selected by the Jaguars with the ninth pick in the 1998 NFL draft, and he quickly established himself as one of the league's most dominant running backs. He played for the Jaguars for 11 seasons, becoming the franchise's all-time leading rusher with 11,271 yards.

With the Jaguars, Taylor was a consistent and reliable force. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in seven of his 11 seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl three times. He was also a key part of the Jaguars' success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, helping the team reach the playoffs four times and leading them to the AFC championship game in 1999.

Taylor's individual statistics with the Jaguars are impressive, but it was his combination of power, speed and agility that made him one of the league's most feared running backs.
