“Really not liked the Cowboys since coming out of the womb” – Throwback to Tom Brady's candid comments on disliking Dallas ahead of Wild Card showdown

Tom Brady is playing his 23rd NFL season and chasing his eighth Super Bowl victory. He is in his third campaign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it seems like Brady and the team have regressed from the two seasons prior.

To begin their playoff run this postseason, they will face a familiar face, the Dallas Cowboys. This is a team that Brady appears to have some animosity towards.

Brady once opened up about how he dislikes the Cowboys. Here's what he said to reporters in 2019:

"Really not liked the Cowboys since coming out of the womb as a niner fan. But no, I got a lot of respect for those guys they're actually a great winning organization, they got a lot of great players in their history.
"As a niner fan every time you play the Cowboys and they hand it off to Emmitt Smith for a five-yard gain, you pull your hair out. Throw it up to Michael Irvin, Troy [Aikman] was such a great player and the defenses, Ken Norton, Primetime."

Tom Brady has faced the Cowboys seven times in his career and has beaten them on each occasion. In what promises to be a fascinating Wild Card matchup, Brady and the Buccaneers will host Dallas and look to improve that record to 8-0.

Brady and the Buccaneers will face the Cowboys this weekend for the second time this season. They faced off in Week 1 and the Bucs defeated Dallas 19-3. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott left the game with a right-thumb injury, but was ineffective before leaving the field.

Before exiting the game, Prescott struggled heavily, completing 14-of-29 passes for 134 yards and an interception. Brady threw for 212 yards, a touchdown, and a pick, but it was running back Leonard Fournette who had a big game. He recorded 127 rushing yards on 21 attempts.

Since Tampa won the NFC South, they'll be hosting the Cowboys, even though Dallas finished the season with a better record. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this one.
